Join us for a cosy and relaxing morning at our 1-hour workshop focused on autumn’s natural harvest and foliage. Set in the stunning surroundings of Ramster Garden inside the Teahouse, this guided class explores how to capture rich textures, dynamic tonal values, and organic forms using dry mediums in a welcoming, stress-free setting.
Using high-quality paper, you’ll experiment with sketching pencils, rich charcoal, and dynamic pastels. We’ll focus on observing still life foliage gathered from the garden alongside seasonal vegetables, looking at how to map out balance and proportion, build up depth, and blend rich colours. Whether you prefer loose, expressive marks or fine, delicate details, you’ll receive encouraging, tailored instruction to help express your personal style.
Visitors are welcome to explore and enjoy the beautiful gardens before or after the session with the purchase of a standard garden entry ticket.
